The African Violet is a member of the Gesneriad Family
 
which also includes many other fascinating varieties of
 
plants.  The others that I grow are Streptocarpus (Cape
 
Primrose), Episcia (Flame Violet), Koleria, & Sinningia.  I have

Inky Fingers

(C. Rose) Purple violet overlain on lower lobes by full network of blacker than violet blue vein color, slightly sheened especially along near black main vain lines on limb below the mouth. (AGGS Register)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Lucky Strike 

(David Thompson) (Michael X Texas Hot Chili), (2005) 2" pink with throat striped with dark red and yellow; lobes narrow, giving starlike effect; prolific bloomer.

(David Thompson) Light shade of lavender-blue is abundantly splashed and streaked with red, light purple and dark purple, with a yellow throat. This plant is a beautiful fantasy, novel and distinctive.

 Pink Panther

 Large pink flowers set against silvery green foliage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Strawberry Patch

 Beautiful rosy pink foliage is accented w/a silvery green center and edged stitched in greenish brown. Flowers are of deep red-orange.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pink Acajou
 
Medium size silvery-green leaves are stitched in blackish-green and randomly splashed w/iridescent hot pink then topped w/orange-red flowers, w/yellow throats.
 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chocolate Velour
